(Above) The mall's North facade. Shown at far left are the three light-up 'lifestyle' image boxes with three pictures which modernly glow at night: one of some vases, on of a laughing woman's face, and one of flowers.

The parking lot of the North side is still in for larger changes in the next two years.

The 'lifestyle image boxes' images had to be checked for appropriateness to the Uptown (Waterloo's fancy name for downtown) core. This was an example of the developer (First Gulf, Mississauga, Ontario) and its relationship and teamwork with the city council.
